Certification Process

Our Certification Process

At Ashburton Assurance Australasia, our certification process is designed to enhance your business operations and instill confidence in your clients. Here’s an overview of our approach:

01

We will contact you to better understand your business and your certification requirements.

02

Based on the information you provide, we will provide a quotation for certification services.

03

Should you wish to apply for Triple A Certification of your management systems, return the application form contained in the quotation.

04

Stage 1 assessment - our assessors will undertake an initial assessment of your management systems against the standards you seek certification for. Some corrections may be identified. These need to be implemented prior to progressing to Stage 2.

05

Stage 2 – often referred to as the Certification Audit. Successful completion of this audit can lead to Triple A Certification subject to office approval.

06

Certification Office approval. Your system will officially be Triple A Certified once Ashburton’s Certification Office has reviewed and approved the reports submitted by our assessors.

07

Certificate and Triple A Certified logos issued. Your certification will be valid for a period of up to three years.

08

You will be authorised to promote your business as Triple A Certified and use our Triple A Certified logos to the standards your system is certified to. Note: Logos must be used in accordance with Use of Logos Rules. To maintain certification, your organisation must meet Ashburton’s ongoing Triple A Certification requirements.

09

Surveillance assessments need to be undertaken in years 1 and 2 to ensure the ongoing monitoring and implementation of your management systems and business improvement

10

Corrective actions and verification required. Should corrective actions be raised at assessments conducted by Ashburton, these must be managed in accordance with scheme rules. Ashburton will verify that these are managed accordingly.

11

Recertification – The recertification audit must be undertaken prior to the 3 year expiration of your certificate. This should be conducted with sufficient timeframes to enable the Certification Office to complete the review prior to the exploration of your certificate. Your organisation must maintain certification to be authorised to use the Triple A Certified logo.
