Leo Harris Founder of Ashburton Assurance
Leo Harris initiated the formation of Ashburton Assurance Australasia in 2016. When Leo envisaged Ashburton, he wanted to create a certification company where the auditors didn’t just tick boxes. He wanted the auditors to have deep experience that allowed Ashburton to bring value to our clients and enhance their businesses. Leo wanted Ashburton to provide quality auditors that add value to the certification experience with extensive knowledge and understanding to deliver our clients value in the audit process and certification to help them grow their businesses and be more than just a piece of paper.
In developing the Ashburton Assurance system, Leo drew on both his professional qualifications with over 20 years of auditing experience and his practical experience in owning and managing small and large businesses. He recognised the peace of mind for owners and managers, and the value that a business can create from having a certified management system(s) that is reliable and transparent.
Sadly, in 2019, Leo passed away, but his vision has continued to develop and grow.
